AHC Greater Baltimore Purchases Three More Houses in Park Circle Area of Lower Park Heights

Baltimore, Md. (January 17, 2012)---AHC Greater Baltimore, Inc., a developer of affordable housing in the greater Baltimore region, today announced that it has recently purchased three additional row houses on Violet Avenue in the Park Circle area of lower Park Heights, according to Andrew M. Vincent, director of AHC Greater Baltimore. The houses are located at 2620, 2622 and 2625 Violet Ave.

The three bedroom, one and one- half bath two story houses were purchased through the City of Baltimore's Vacants to Value program.  Plans call for the renovations on these homes to begin late winter.

“We are nearing completion of the extensive renovation of 2618 Violet Avenue and hope to have it ready for sale by early spring,” said Vincent.  “We hope that this house, as well as the ones we just purchased, will be of interest and considered for purchase by first-time home buyers.”

The Violet Avenue houses are in the same neighborhood at MonteVerde, as 301-unit apartment community for low-income seniors and non-elderly disabled residents that AHC Greater Baltimore invested $30 million in acquiring and renovating it before its opening in May 2010.
