AHC Inc Appoints Gladis Bourdouane and Robert Bushkoff
to its Board of Directors
Arlington, VA (May 3, 2011) – AHC Inc, a nonprofit developer of affordable housing in the mid-Atlantic region, announced that Gladis Bourdouane and Robert Bushkoff have been appointed to its board of directors.
“Both Ms. Bourdouane and Mr. Bushkoff are deeply involved in our community and bring extensive skills and professional expertise to our board. We are grateful for their support and look forward to working with them as we continue to explore new opportunities to expand quality affordable housing and educational support in the communities we serve,” said Walter Webdale, AHC President and CEO.
Gladis Bourdounane has been a resident of Arlington since 1984. She is currently a public information specialist with Arlington Public Schools, where she is a co-chair of the APS Council for Cultural Competence. She also serves on the Board of Educación Para Nuestro Futuro, a community-based organization that provides educational and leadership opportunities for Latino youth. Ms. Bourdouane is a member of the Leadership Arlington Class of 2011.
Robert Bushkoff is a commercial real estate developer with the Dittmar Company. In 2005, Bob served on the Arlington County Affordable Housing Roundtable and is currently a member of the Arlington County Economic Development Commission. Bob previously served on AHC’s board of directors from 1995-2009 and was inducted into AHC’s Housing Hall of Fame in 2006. Bob is a graduate of the Leadership Arlington Class of 2007and is also a member of the Arlington Host Lion’s Club. He has lived in Arlington since 1983.
